We packed up our camper for a weekend trip into the San Bernardino Mountains.
Mr T spent the whole journey posting money from his bucket into his Minnie piggie bank. We think he might grow up to be a banker.
It was a 6000 ft climb. The scenery was breathtaking.
The mountains are a child's paradise... dirt and dust everywhere...Logs to jump off...
Trees to run through...
Camping chairs to sit in...
Tents to play in...
Marbles to play with...
Not surprisingly, there were two tired little children on our journey home yesterday...

Oooh! I think this is where Idyllwild is, and that is where we spent about 2 weeks this summer. VERY pretty area! Looks like it was a lot of fun all around. :)
Oh, that looks like so much fun!
So sweet, her "best days ever!" Music to any parents ears!!!! Camping is always so much fun. With all that dirt and tents to play in, how could it not be? Have a great week!
Love it, great post! We camped this weekend too, the kids didn't want to come home.
Wonderful post! Those mountains are really neat to explore. Have you been to Idyllwild?
That picture of Mr T and his money is wonderful. Camping is the best. Again Mr T with the marbles and then his truck barefoot in the dirt - wonderful. Nice dry, dusty dirt, I must add! What a beautiful spot. K looks so happy there. I am sure you will all have such wonderful memories of this camping trip.
Best wishes
Oh we lOOOOOVE camping too...planning a trip toward the end of the summer, yay! So glad you all had so much fun.

Sleepy little ones...always a good sign of a full and fun time away. Love camping!
It's just the best as a family, isn't it? Thanks for the idea of marbles for next time.

Looks like a great time! We love to camp as well.
Hi. I have a blog at www.picturecamping.com where I feature people's posts about camping, and I would like to send my readers your way. Of course I would give you credit for quotes and would link back to your site.
Thanks for considering this,
