The Enchanted Cupboard... what a creative spirit we have found in this amazing toy-maker!
Being of the Waldorf persuasion, I love that Beccijo makes her enchanting toys from natural wood. Each one has been hand painted by Beccijo herself. The love and energy she puts into her work shines from every creation. Just take a look at this creative play box! All the little pieces fit into the suitcase for a perfect on-the-go toy. I think I am going to have to get one of these for K for when we go to a restaurant. It's a little Bee Keeping Market Day playbox... she'll NEVER be bored again!
Beccijo's sweet wooden dolls are so full of magic. The sets and scenes she makes are just perfect for imaginative play. The Enchanted Cupboard has such a wide selection of toys. I love how many of her characters are inspired by our best-loved stories and fairy tales.
Here is a play set of the Three Little Pigs. I can just imagine what a lovely story I can tell my children using these as props.
I also really like that The Enchanted Cupboard has fun toys for boys and girls. There are wonderful fairy sets for girls and great little boy sets too. Mr T is mad about stars and I know he'd really like this astronaut set...
Remember that if you are in the US, you can still purchase one of The Enchanted Cupboards toys and receive it in time for Christmas... She ships Priority Mail and the USPS Christmas cut-off is the 21st December... so, yay... there is still time! K has a set and it is delightful to see how she uses them... she sets the scene for her play with them, lying the blue flat on her floor for the sea and the green draped over a small pillow to make a mountain. These play silks are a MUST HAVE in our house and will be a treasured plaything in yours.
