'Freestyle' Beans.

After making our Bean Scene yesterday, we headed outside for a little 'freestyle' bean play.
T had been trying to play freely with the beans while we were doing our project and as they were getting all over the kitchen, it was making me increasingly uncomfortable... K, who had been having a very hard time with the 'shy' glue, also needed a little rehabilitation. So, outside we went with our bowl of beans, a few containers and an egg carton.
The sensory nature of playing with the beans; sorting them, pouring them, calmed both children, to my relief! And, best of all, I did not care where the beans went.
Needless to say, they went all over the place! Perfect opportunity for Mr T to get out his broom and sweep them up.

A little boy needs to learn all manner of housework and I know that somewhere out there in the world (or perhaps she's still a twinkle in the sky) there is a future Mrs T who will be very thankful for this photo!

Blessings and magic.

Super cute!
I always think that someday there will be a girl who is thankful that her Dearest knows how to communicate well-ly. :)
