Friday's Nature Table.

Today I invite you to share a post from your blog that celebrates nature and imagination. If you and your kids enjoyed a craft inspired by nature or made something using natural materials or posted about something beautiful or interesting from The Great Outdoors or simply did or made something to inspire the imagination of your little ones, please share it using the link below.

I will be doing a Nature Table each Friday, so be sure to check out all the wonderful nature-inspired posts. Can you see the 'Friday's Nature Table' button on the right of the page? It is for you to post on your blog, if you so desire, so that others can find this sure-to-be wonderful resource and join in the fun.

Blessings and magic to you for sharing today. Enjoy!!

My blog isn't up, but this poem is amazing and is my personal favorite:

A Child's Catechism

When they ask to see your gods
your book of prayers
show them lines
drawn delicately with veins
on the underside of a bird's wing
tell them you believe
in giant sycamores mottled
and stark against a winter sky
and in nights so frozen
stars crack open
spilling streams of molten ice to earth
and tell them how you drank
the holy wine of honeysuckle
on a warm spring day
and of the softness
of your mother
who never taught you
death was life's reward
but who believed in
the earth and the sun
and a million, million light years of being

Thanks for doing this. I have been SO inspired by all these beautiful, simple ideas! We made a "gnome home" this weekend, will be ordering some butterflies, and can't wait to create a nature table!
