I am super-excited to introduce my second sponsor, Linda, from the more-than-gorgeous shop, Mamma4Earth.
Linda and I have a delightful story that I'd like to share...
Shortly after discovering Etsy at the beginning of the year, I wandered upon Mamma4Earth, quite by accident and to my great pleasure. I was new to the handmade toy scene and what I discovered in Linda's shop took my breath away. I had never seen such beautifully handcrafted toys before. I called K to sit on my lap and together we immersed ourselves in the knitted wonderland that is Mamma4Earth. K sighed longing many times and lamented, sorrowfully, "Mommy... why can't you knit?"
I immediately started to follow Linda's lovely blog, Natural Suburbia, and was delighted to find that Linda hails from my very own homeland, South Africa.
A few weeks later, I was even more delighted to see that Linda had started to follow my blog too! I felt honored!
And then... could you believe, Linda purchased a gnome from my shop. I was more than honored! AND THEN, in the transactions that ensued, Linda asked me a very amazing question... she said that she knew this was a CRAZY question, considering I was American and all, but had I ever lived in Port Elizabeth in South Africa? I was amazed... Yes! I had!
It turns out that Linda and I grew up TOGETHER! We went to school together, we had play-dates together... we were childhood friends! We lost contact with each other when Linda and her family moved away from our city when we were 12... never to see or talk to each other again until our fortunate Etsy meeting almost 30 years later... both 'grown-up', both with different last names, both with children of our own. The world does indeed, move in mysterious ways!
So, it is with special excitement that I welcome Mamma4Earth to my blog. And, MORE THAN EXCITING, Linda has graciously offered to give our lucky readers not one, not two, not three but FOUR precious Mamma4Earth creations.
I will be holding a two part GIVEAWAY over today and tomorrow. Here is what Linda is offering today... it's so sweet I can hardly bare it... It is PINK LEMONADE KITTY!
Isn't she adorable! She has been knitted with pure Mohair wool. I LOVE her!
All you have to do to win Pink Lemonade Kitty, is leave a comment on this post below... (if you have trouble leaving a comment here, you can leave a comment on Linda's blog, Natural Suburbia, telling her that you love Pink Lemonade Kitty or email me... my email address is listed at the top of my blog in the right hand column.) If you blog or Tweet about this giveaway, you will be entered an extra 3 times... just let us know and we'll add your extra entries.)
Tomorrow, we will have an amazing interview with Linda and learn all about her craft and inspiration AND she will offer more items to GIVEAWAY.
Thank you, Linda... it's lovely to have you.
If you are interested in becoming a Magic Onions Sponsor too, please contact me on my email address, listed at the top of my blog in the right column. Thanks.
Blessings and magic and GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

A truly heartwarming reunion story. I found out a friend from college lives around the corner from me after I got a Christmas card from her forwarded from my old address in Philly. I had just moved and had a baby and was so incredibly grateful to have found her again! Not nearly as interesting as your story, but still good! :)
I love the kitty! I'll tweet about it too!
My daughter would love PINK LEMONADE KITTY. It’s so adorable!
And what a wonderful story! This is a really small world after all.
Please don't enter me in the giveaway as my dd is too old for these toys now. However, I wanted to comment on your WONDERFUL story! What a delight!

Your story just goes to show how small this world really is. How neat that you found each other again. Also, I would love to win Pink Lemonade Kitty. Our cat, Kinnie, died 2 years ago. She was very talented. When she could find us, she'd meow Hello? Until we answered her.
Very cute and snuggly! When I went to her shop, this is the one that caught my eye!
So cute! I love her shop!
It's such a small world!! I love stories like that!!
You know, my daughter and I made 6 adorable felted acorns and put them on our nature table. Within an hour they had disappeared! Turns out they are irresistible kitty toys and now we can't find them anymore!
So lovely! And what a wonderful story to share.

I blogged it! (My son REALLY wants some of these!)
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these knitted lovies! What's more important, though, is that my 7 and 5 year old little fairies would love them! Thanks for the opportunity to sample some exciting goods from a new (to me) shop! :-)
What a magical story about your reunion! Isn't that just awesome when that happens? You two are obviously creative kindred spirits! We LOVE Linda's shop and treasures. We have bought several knitted things from her over the past year or so and they are even more lovely in person. We don't have a kitty, though, and with my allergies, can't have a real one, so my twins would absolutely LOVE this pink kitty - perfect color for two pink lovers, too! Thanks for entering us and for having such a wonderful give-away (to you & Linda)! I so enjoy your blog! Blessings, Jen
