I recently re-read my very first blog post. It was written on New Year's Day 2009. It was written to my extended family. Re-reading it brought tears to my eyes... I needed this space with all my heart. I am so proud of that girl back then who was brave enough to let go of something she had been clinging to all her married life in order embrace a gift that was waiting for her to accept... the gift of the now, the here, the us. What a huge difference that gift has made in our lives and I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you to all of you who have shared this space with me. I had a small inkling back then of how powerful this sharing would be for me but I had no idea of the magnitude of the good we could all bring to each others lives. I have not felt 'alone' for a very long time.

What a beautiful post! I've been a reader for awhile now and wanted to share with you how much I love your blog. And I also wanted to thank you for the wonderful things you make... my husband gifted me one of your felted acorn necklaces and an adorable little owl for Christmas this year. Ahhhhh.. so wonderful!!
