Nature Inspired Jewelry

I have been working on growing my jewelry line in my shop. I love to wear jewelry that looks like it come from Mother Nature herself and know that there are so many of us out there who like nothing more than making a necklace out of that pretty shell our little one has picked up on the beach or finding a way to turn other 'nature bits' into something we can wear with pride. It's so much fun making little nature-inspired treasures!

I have lovely felted acorn necklaces in lots of new Fall-inspired colors available in Fairyfolk.

It hasn't started happening here in Southern California yet, but it is such a favorite of mine to slowly watch the Fall colors creeping into nature... the splashes of oranges and reds, the yellows and rusty browns... the rich earthy colors that sing Autumn's song.

These necklaces are made with real acorn caps that my children and I gather from the oak trees in late Autumn. The colorful acorn part is made from wool that I wet felt into tight little acorns.

The ball chain and leaves have a wonderfully rich and earthy antiqued copper finish.

Pretty little pieces of jewelry that look like they are a gift from the fairies!

A Needle Felted Easter

The Fairies at Fairyfolk have been hard at work getting ready for Easter.

"Easter?"  you may say... 'but the year's only just started, it can't be Easter already!'
Well, friends, yes, it is! Easter is only about 6 weeks away. Unbelievable as it might seem, it's true... Easter is on our doorstep.

If you are like me, you'll leave collecting Easter treats for your little ones until the very last moment and then be horribly disappointed when you discover that you've left it too late and all the cutest goodies are gone. So here's your warning, my friends, Easter gets very busy at Fairyfolk and if you want to be sure to have your pick of all the sweetest felted Fairyfolk Easter treasures, shop sooner rather than later :-)

This might sound totally crazy... like when you walk into Target and see snowflakes and Christmas trees all over the place and think, 'Come on... it's not even November yet!', but, I have to tell you all that Fairyfolk is getting very busy and I can see that the Holiday/Christmas Season will be FRANTIC busy for me. So, if you are at all thinking of getting your little loved ones any felted goodies from Fairyfolk, please do your Christmas shopping sooner rather than later. I have tried to build up stock but can never quite get enough to see my through the Christmas Season. Just a heads up from a last minute person, not to leave it until the last minute :-)
