Discovering Waldorf is a weekly series of articles contributed by 'everyday' Waldorf families. The contributors to this series share their 'real-life' insights and inspirations on all kinds of Waldorf topics. This series is not meant to be Waldorf philosophy in its purest form, but rather a snapshot of how we can all incorporate Waldorf ideas into our lives to help nurture and encourage the magic that is in our children.

Lucas Sorbara

Lucas Sorbara is a Toronto Waldorf School High School Teacher and an alumnus. After TWS, he studied anthropology at Dalhousie University and received a B.A. and M.A . He then pursued his doctorate at the University of Sussex in the U.K. He was a Commonwealth Scholar and recipient of an SSHRC Doctoral Research fellowship for research on biodiversity conservation in the eastern Himalayas. Lucas returned to TWS in 2005 to pursue his love of teaching and to give back to the school that helped him to fall in love with learning. He currently teaches English and Life Sciences.

This documentary was directed by fellow Waldorf Alumnus, Nadia Tan, whom we had the privilege of having here on Discovering Waldorf a few years ago. Here is her wonderful guest appearance.
